      How it all started

On 1 April 1973, Helmut Rüde founds the Rüde company in Laufenburg-Binzgen. As a trained lathe operator employed by various companies since 1955, he learnt about the manufacture of extrusion machines and built his first own extruder with a complete production line as a sideline. This is the basis for the start of production of cable conduits for the electrical wholesale trade in 1973.
